Python is an old programming language and has gained popularity recently in the Data Analytics world. It became so popular that even Microsoft took notice of it and introduced it in various platforms such as Azure, Visual Studio, Power BI etc. This session is to look at the Introduction to Python, Jupyter notebooks, Why Python is Powerful and the Integration between Power BI and Python in various forms.
The high-level agenda will be as follows.- Introduction to Python and Jupyter notebooks- Why Python is very powerful- Demo on Embedding Python in Power BI ( Query editor)- Demo on Embedding Power BI report in Jupyter notebook- Demo and use case when Python is more effective in Data manipulation than Power BI- Q&A.
Speakers BIO:Marylyn has been working in Data Analytics / BI for 12+ years now. She is currently working as a data analytics consultant with MOQdigital ( formerly Wardy IT solutions). She has majorly worked on Microsoft Technologies and is a Microsoft Certified Associate Data Engineer along with a Microsoft Certification in Power BI.
She is currently working with latest Microsoft technologies such as Azure Data factories, Azure SQL, ADLS Gen 2 and Azure Data Catalog. She received a certificate in Python from Stanford Online School, in 2020 and has been dabbling with Python recently. She is passionate about data analytics.
