Sydney Power BI User Group September 2022
In this online meetup, we had Amey Holden speaking on Power Automate.
Topic: Power Automate: The best friend of Power BI
Speaker: Amey Holden
Data likes to live anywhere and everywhere - spreadsheets, TXT files, CSVs, blobs and databases to name a few. Yet your reporting needs to wrap these all into one beautiful chart of course. This session will teach you nothing about building Power BI reports, but it will help you work out ways to automate getting all the data you need into the places it should be – so that you can do the magical data munching and visual wondery you do best. Inspired by Matt Allington’s need to automate file managed from an email inbox into various locations on a daily basis, let’s look at some Power Automate patterns and methods to automate your weekly, daily, hourly or even minutely file commutes.
